The first

Hello World,

So this is my first ever blog, or attempt at one anyway. I will try to keep it updated as much as I can, talk about my journey through life, and how it changes, and how change affects me.

Today is a bank holiday Monday in Dublin, Ireland...where I live. It's the day after my 37th birthday. A gorgeous start to the day. Clear blue skies, although quite chilly, so I donned my winter cycling gear and  headed out to Swords, to The Lord Mayor's pub for the 10am meet. We headed north towards Balbriggan, on the main roads fearing that the side roads would be too frosty for our narrow wheels, which is not really something that's fun on a bike.
After a while, we decided to venture off to the side, country, roads and as there was a little heat in the sun by then, the roads were lovely and clear....apart from all of the potholes which are expected hazards on the roads of North County Dublin.
65Km later, and a stop for coffee & scones in The Grange cafe, near Ballyboughal, I got home....time or a shower and some food.

The rest of the day is pretty quiet really. I logged onto my work machine so that I could attend a project call. My new job, as IT project manager is going to keep me quite busy, and I'm hoping to get some travel along with it. Might even update this site with some pictures from my travels while I'm at it. Which will prove a little more interesting that plain text.

Anyway, that's it for the moment.
Nearly time for dinner!

talk soon,
Aido
